sTiling allows you to create patterns like the one below.
The software allows you to create large or small patterns of "Tiles" of varying rectangular dimensions and unlimited numbers of colors.  The software is perfect for hobbyists, professionals, and artisans alike. Create patterns for tile floors in houses, patterns for bead layouts, needlecraft, jewelry, quilting and more. The software includes three free patterns similar in quality to the one below.

This screen shot show 3 different views of the color picker.

Left view The program allows you to keep favorite colors on a convenient pallate. It also shows you all the recent colors you have selected in your current pattern. When you open an existing mosaic the recent color palette shows you all the colors that were used in that pattern and adds to it as you add more colors.

Center view If you do not like the default colors then you can pick your own and match it up to a given color coordinate by clicking on different areas of the color swatch.

Right view The programs default colors are always available.



The main program screen is adjustable in size.
It alllows you to start new patterns, open existing patterns and save your current pattern.
The program will also let  you print the active work area to a single page.
It also keeps track of your last 5 patterns so you can easily switch back and forth between your designs.



The program  also allows you to choose your grid width and color in addition to the pattern size, and the tile size. The tiles do not have to be square but can be rectrangular in shape. The settings you choose for your new pattern are retained until the next time.

There is also a help menu for convenient reference.

One real convenient feature for large patterns is the ability to "Paint" a group of tiles by holding down the mouse button. A real time saving feature.
